I've had a hell of a lot of time to think while out here being on the road for up to sixteen hours a day and have come to some realizations that I will use as I transition from this ride to real 'life' again.

My thinking has changed so much even over the past 4 weeks since leaving Sydney. We as human beings were created with eyes on the front of our heads not on the back and if we look back for too long all you'll really do is get a stiff neck.

I made a very conscious decision just over 3 years ago to only choose to hear the messaging from people that would positively help me me achieve my goals and dreams. I can honestly say that this decision has been the single biggest change I've made in my life. It has helped me achieve many things that at one stage not too long ago I never thought possible.

It doesn't take long each morning to work out that it's only a matter of time before an adventure and goal that I set so long ago is about to come to fruition. All the planning done. All the logistics covered (well nearly covered) and soon enough it'll be time to toe the start line in Sydney to begin a truly life changing experience.

...at times when you look at a goal you have in mind or indeed one you've already started moving towards, the end result can seem so distant that even starting seems like a daunting prospect. Sometimes so daunting that it can even stop you from having a crack at it. Every goal can be what I call 'broken down to the ridiculous'. You can have an effect, every minute if you really needed to, on hitting your goal.

My most simple advice when it comes to making any food decision is simple and I think can be followed by most people - if it's got an ingredients list on it then there's a better option! 

I strongly believe that if you follow this rule of thumb you honestly will be so far ahead of the game when it comes to real nutrition and you'll see improvements. 

Just eat real food!
